The newly released AM 300 Developer’s Kit from E Ink Corporation boasts some amazing new features! It has the ability to show much faster animations as well as 16 bit grayscale image rendering and pen input. It’s really exciting to see E Ink corporation demonstrate the animation abilities. E-book readers will now have the potential to display video and media rich advertisements.
“This would enable advertisements on electric newspapers, you could also imagine applications in text books or even normal books where figures and explanations come to life,” says Joanna Owl, E INK senior application engineer.

It makes me think of those harry potter newspapers, have you seen this man? This could just be what could make those happen!
This could be how they’d add illustrations and other stuff in e-books, especially instructional e-books! This is a great advancement for e-book readers!
