At the recently concluded Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Microsoft showed off its latest e-paper technology. Microsoft even hinted that they will be moving to e-paper for their windows mobile devices.

I've read about that. I think they showed the concept e-paper in color, and at a much bigger display (bond paper size, I think, as opposed to traditional 2.8 inch displays for mobiles)

Microsoft, I think, is gunning for the longer battery life provided by e-paper, it won't have to come out with phones that have big and heavy batteries.

I think Microsoft will be using e-paper technology for Windows Mobile, don't you think so?

I remember reading about Microsoft's proof-of-concept technology application at the CES, where they did announce something like that.

This makes sense for Microsoft... they have a lot of competition from other companies, from OS to displays. I'd hate it for Google Android to overtake them :)

Then, I can hardly wait. MS seems to have a golden touch. anything it touches turns to gold... e-paper should be one area where it would excel!

What I know is that they featured some digital e-ink display, and discussed the possibility of using e-paper for Windows mobile.

Personally, I don't know what i'd do with a phone that has a screen size that's as big as a bond paper.

Microsoft would have a lot of uses for e-paper on its products.

I think that's why the company has been researching extensively on the technology. I think they are one of the first few who came up with a color screen for e-paper. Their e-paper devices shown at the pre-keynote during the CES were in color.

I have a personal bias against MS. I think they spoil anything that they touch... they are too greedy to share their advancements in any field.

All parents hope their children will have a bright future. However, parents’ expectations for their children are not always in accordance with their children’s cheap kobe basketball shoes 2012,personal ideals, and sometimes they are even conflicting with each other. This is often a main cause for quarrels and gaps between parents and children. But what lead to the conflict between parental hopes and personal ideals?
