I was surprised because I though they were still to come up with a mobile phone, but I saw a Motorola that looks like it uses e-paper technology. I wasn't sure what it was though, I was hoping someone here could identify the phone for me.

    Hello.
I have this mobile. Is fantastic for the design and the use of the e-ink display, and really cheap (39 euros in Italy), but the software inside is not good.
The concept of this phone is something about a vintage phone with the best in today's tecnology (the phone do only the essential thinks: call, receiving and really uncomfortable sms)

    I's good

    Hi Dura:

Thanks for that one. Maybe you could have the software upgraded. What do you mean by uncomfortable sms? are they keys on the pad close together?

BTW, on a totally unrelated topic: how did you get your avatar updated?

The font used in this mobile is that one you see on the image you posted. Really big and there's not the dot, only comma, no apostrophe, no special caracter, # is different...

I don't think it's epaper. Could be one of those earlier LCD displays. i certainly looks like an old LCD screen to me

    nope, it's e-paper.

    According to Wikipedia:

Motorola FONE F3 (frequently known as the MOTOFONE) is a candybar style mobile phone from Motorola, based on the SCPL design platform. The Motofone is available in two telephone formats, the F3, which is a GSM phone and was released on 28 November 2006, and the CDMA F3c, which was to be available Q4 2006.

Unlike most phones, the MOTOFONE F3 is designed to appeal to the low-end market and developing countries, making it less functional, but also less expensive than most phones. Motorola made it appealing to developing markets by using only simple symbols and using speech to identify tasks in the menu, helping those who can't read.

The phone IS cheap. And yeah, I agree, compared to today's phones, the functionality is basic..

yeah... and back then, motorola didn't think that e-paper would become big... which is why they didn't advertise the F3 as an e-paper phone... what's more, they didn't come out with another e-paper phone after this one.

No it is e-paper. The F3 is actually the first mobile to use e-paper, which Motorola calls "ClearVision" and uses E Ink's electrophoretic imaging film.

This a good beginning for Motorola and it's a good test for the e-paper technology.

I bought the phone for my mother hopping to get an extremely simple device (no camera, no internet). Unfortunately, Motorola did a really bad user interface.

Although this bad experience, I can imagine more mobile phones using e-paper in the future.

mobile phones using e-paper displays can be manufactured very cheap - I'm surprised we haven't seen any other mobile phone companies come out with a device.

First, compared with in middle school, new kobe bryant shoes 2012 students have more freedom in college. It depends more on one student’s consciousness whether he will attend the class. So those colleges students lacking self-discipline begin to skip classes. Second, some teachers’ lectures could not attract students’ interests, so that some students would rather skip classes to study what they are interested in.
